Chocolatey Medicinal Mushroom Ice Cream
Wayyy in the beginnings of Botanical Lucidity, I had a vision of this.🍦🍄 I thought, wouldn’t it be fun to offer a chocolatey medicinal mushroom ice cream recipe?? That was over 2 years ago when that thought occurred, and now it’s here! Check out this rich and delicious shroomy ice cream recipe created by @sculptedkitchen below:
You can use any size of our Longevity Mushroom elixir, jar or bulk which are both available here (:
Ingredients:
- 1 can of coconut cream
- 1 tsp of Longevity Mushroom elixir powder
- 1 cup of unsweetened soy milk (you could sub this for homemade cashew milk or any plant based mylk!)
- 1/4 cup nut butter (peanut, cashew, sun butter are all great options)
- 1/4 cup cocoa butter
- 1/4 cup of cacao powder
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
Directions:
- Add all your ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. (should be thick & smooth with no bits)
- Using a spatula, pour into a metal tin with parchment paper.
- Freeze overnight
- When ready to serve, leave your ice cream container on the counter to warm up for 20 minutes.
- Dip an ice cream scooper in hot water and carve out ice cream balls
- Serve immediately. Garnish with crushed nuts or chocolate chunks. 🤎🫠🍦🥜 yum!
